The Walk for life will be Sunday September 21st at 3:00 pm beginning in Baker Park

This is scheduled on a Sunday afternoon. After church bring the family for fun,
and walk for a great cause. Music, face painting and games will be provided.

Sponsor forms are available at the center or through your church office.

It is not about making “our” name great but bringing glory to the Father and making His Son well known. The Care Net Pregnancy Center of Frederick is a street ministry. We are not in the street, but the street comes to us. The lost, the broken, the immigrant population, those wounded by abortion, and the lost children of Frederick, those abandoned by their parents and left to survive. The Center is a mission field created by abortion. All are welcomed through our doors and received in compassion.

We pray for each of them, and if they will allow us, we pray with them. Their fears are addressed; we go to great effort to get them the assistance they need. Our volunteers and staff represent the arms of Jesus reaching out to a lost and hurting generation. Our hope, our vision, our prayer is that every women in Frederick County will get the love and support she needs in a crisis pregnancy situation.

 We are the light of Christ to those who walk through our doors. We do not control anything, we don’t own anything, and we do not claim anything as ours. We simply want to impact the Frederick area for Christ, for life and for good. In these days when God’s moral standards are being replaced with deception and destructive lifestyles, we are daily blessed with the unique opportunity to share the love of Jesus in word and deed with individuals who face difficult choices in the midst of a crisis. Facility needs

Outside Painting: Our building desperately needs a fresh coat of paint. If you know of a group of people willing to commit to see this project through, please contact Jenny Dixon.

Computers - Two computers are needed for our Fatherhood Initiative.  The Fatherhood Initiative has a mentoring program; a segment of the program is conducted in house on a interactive CD –Rom program.

Phone System - Our phone system is getting old. We need a new updated Phone system for our staff and to serve our clients better,

New linoleum - The linoleum we have is very old! We need a new patch of linoleum

Printers - We have a need for four laser printers!

Carpet Cleaning - Our Carpets need to be cleaned, if you are willing please contact us!

Cleaning Service - The staff needs help cleaning our facility! If your family or church group would like to volunteer to clean, we would be forever grateful!

Program Needs

Fatherhood Initiative - Literature- 15:00.00 would help us to purchase the necessary literature to begin this program which includes a CD rom for each young man we mentor.

Childbirth Instructor - Care Net of Frederick needs a certified child birth instructor to teach childbirth classes at the pregnancy center to equip our young ladies for childbirth.

Diapers - Many of our clients cannot afford to purchase Diapers- We want our babies clean! If you would like to contribute to our diaper fund please send a check or payment marked ”diapers”.

Baby Showers - Many ladies groups hold a Baby shower for the pregnancy center providing us with new baby clothes for our clients expecting! Please contact us for a date, we will send a center representative to speak about the good work of the center and
receive the wonderful gifts !
