The Care Net Medical Pregnancy Resource Center is the first of its kind in Frederick County. We provide a unique service to women (and men) who are making decisions regarding reproductive issues. We believe you have a right to know all the facts when considering your choices.

Medical services offered at Care Net include free pregnancy testing, physician consultation and limited obstetrical ultrasound (sonograms) for medical indications. It is critical for women to know what is going on inside of their bodies and a sonogram can provide empowering information. Approximately 15% of clinically recognized pregnancies end in miscarriage and a positive pregnancy test is not sufficient to confirm a viable (living) pregnancy in the uterus. An ultrasound exam (sonogram) can provide this information.

The Center's medical services are provided by a board-certified female OB/GYN and other licensed professionals. All medical services are provided with compassion and respect and are offered free of charge.
